Pizza Aficionados' Kitchen

A compact kitchen in a one-bedroom Provincetown cottage, built in the 1940s, takes advantage of its ceiling height and clever storage to improve its function – for both cooking indoors and out – and improves the kitchen’s integration in the cottage’s cozy living space.

Custom natural maple rectangular storage pieces contrast with crisp white and soft gray cabinets and provide needed function just above counter-top task areas. There is even slim vertical storage for a folding step stool or long-handled pizza peels used for the outdoor pizza oven.

An expanding table, attached to the end of the base cabinet panel, seats one or two for everyday dining or working from home. When fully extended, it can seat up to 7 for hosting friends and family for pizza and game nights.
